My Interests
3D Printing
I purchased a 3D printer in late 2021, and have loved using it since. I purchased various colors of filament and have printed things from a 30 minute keycap to a 32 hour hard drive cage. In the past few months, after getting some spare cash from my co-ops, I purchased several upgrades for it. Pictured is my Ender 3 with dual z-axis motors, an upgraded hotend, a filament dryer, and embedded lighting.
Building Computers and Keyboards
I built my first PC in 2019. I then upgraded it, built one for my sister and one for my friend. I also built my own keyboard, soldering all the parts together myself. I then modified an Amazon keyboard with brand new switches and keycaps, and then built another keyboard using the Drop CSTM65 keyboard kit. Pictured is the latest version of my computer, or at least part of it as it was taken while I was reinstalling all components.
Repairing and Modifying Cars
I got my license as soon as I turned 16, and have had an interest in modifying cars since I was 13. When I got my 2023 Honda Civic Si, I immediately got to work in the engine bay, gaining valuable knowledge and insights about Honda motors. Later, when I was in South Carolina, I purchased a 1986 Honda CRX HF with a friend. Pictured is the engine bay after a few modifications for horsepower gain and efficiency.
EFI Tuning
EFI tuning, or tuning a modern vehicle with electronic fuel injectors (EFIs), is a skill I became passionate about after getting a tuning module (Hondata FlashPro) for my Civic. While it's challenging at first due to the learning curve, it becomes simpler with practice. Essentially, EFI tuning is all about math—ensuring that as air intake increases, fuel delivery also increases to maintain a proper air-fuel ratio (AFR). When done correctly, the vehicle performs as expected. In the picture, you can see my laptop in the middle of a tune flash.
